Pedro Uceda
Peruvian pianist Pedro Uceda keeps an active musical career as a soloist and chamber musician, having performed extensively at various venues in Latin America, Europe and The United States such as L'Eglise de la Madeleine, The American Church and Salle Cortot in France, La Casa de América, La Casa del Cordón and Kursaal in Spain, Casa de la Música in Ecuador, Istituto Italiano di Cultura, Alliance Française, Auditorio Luigi Pirandello in Peru among the latest.

Born in Lima in 1981, Pedro obtained his Bachelor's Degree in piano performance from the Private Conservatory of Music of Lima 'Josafat Roel Pineda' studying under the guidance of Peruvian pianist Elsa Pulgar-Vidal, musicologist Dr.Rubén Valenzuela and Composer Edgar Válcarcel. In 2005, Carnegie Mellon University offered him a full-tuition scholarship for his studies in the Masters Degree program in piano performance. After graduation in 2007 Carnegie Mellon offered him a full-tuition scholarship in the Performance Residency Diploma program which he completed in 2009. He has also been an assistant accompanist for the voice and instrumental departments and faculty member of the prep-school and pre-college programs in the same institution. 

Pedro has been invited to play at international festivals such as the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, Encuentro de Música de Cámara Perú-Mexico in Lima, Nancy Voix Du Monde in France,The Alta Pusteria Festival in Italy, the Festival Musical de Alava and the IX Jornadas Internacionales de Música Coral in Spain.
